Farage: No coalition deal without EU Referendum

"We will only do a deal with anyone on the condition that there is an in/out referendum on the EU."
Speaking on LBC radio in February 2015, Nigel Farage said: “If UKIP do well on 7 May and find ourselves in a position of influence at Westminster, our absolute red line for trying to help anybody form a government would have to be that we want a referendum.”

The UKIP Leader added: “We will not enter a coalition, no matter how tempting ministerial cars may be.”

In March 2015, Mr Farage outlined his terms of a potentail pact with the Tories, reaffirming the EU pledge: “The terms of my deal with the Tories would be very precise and simple. I want a full and fair referendum to be held in 2015… There would be no wiggle room for ‘renegotiation’ somewhere down the line”.
